Detailed introduction

The disc screw thickener is mainly used for low consistency pulp’s washing and thickener in the pulp making industry. Its work principle is to rely on the water level difference between disc filter net outside pulp level with inside white water level to do gravity dewatering. The slurry which consistency is 0.8-1.2% is adhered on the scan sector after inlet pulp tank, the white water flow out from the hollow end two sides through guide water rails. The disc face’s pulp is scoured spalling by high pressure water. When the pulp level is higher than the adjust valve’s gate, the slurry is overflow to outlet tank and drain out. Outlet consistency is about 3-4%. Outlet consistency and product capacity can be adjusted by main bearing’s rotor speed.
